Israeli parents forget daughter at airport
Now I’ve left important things when I go on vacation, my toothbrush, a comb, my blow-dryer, and one time I even left my CDs at the airport. But I don’t think that I would ever forget a three year old child. An Israeli couple going on a European vacation remembered to take their duty-free purchases and their 18 suitcases, but forgot their 3-year-old daughter at the airport, police said Monday. However, they remembered their four other children. The couple and their five children were late for a charter flight to Paris Sunday and made a mad dash to the gate. In the confusion, their daughter got lost. A policeman found her wandering in the duty-free area at Ben-Gurion airport. The child was later reunited with her parents in Paris.
Now I am glad that this story had a happy ending, but how in the hell do you forget a three year old. First of all three year olds are not that big. If the parents were really in a rush wouldn’t they have picked up the child and ran to their plane. Also didn’t they realize someone was missing when they didn’t have a youngling to strap into the seat? WTF!!! Maybe she was left at the airport on purpose? I’m just throwing it out there.
