We’ve tried, but we just can’t take it anymore!

Recently I have written a few articles concerning the issue of marriage.  I think it was a month ago that there was an articles of a man who married his daughter off for money, beer, and food (I think).  Anyway, someone sent me this video today and I was a little horrified.  Once I got over the initial shock of it all (the thought of getting married at such a young age is terrifying, and rather disgusting to me), I started thinking.  There are a lot of cultures out there that handle marriage differently than we (American's) do.  I can't help but be clouded by my personal beliefs about marriage to really see the logic of an arranged marriage at such a young age.  However, I would love to hear a different perspective.  However, I do want to go on record saying this: "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU TO EVEN WANT TO MARRY AN 8 YEAR OLD.  WHAT THE FUCK CAN SHE OFFER YOU!!!  SHE ISN'T EVEN OLD ENOUGH TO INTENTIONALLY MAKE YOU MISERABLE (AND REALLY ISN'T THAT WHAT MARRIAGE IS ALL ABOUT)"
