We’ve tried, but we just can’t take it anymore!

Shannen Dorhety has signed on to be a part of the CW remake of 90210.  Why are they doing a remake of a show that hasn’t been off the air for 10 years yet?  Apparently the show will take place at the same high school with a new set of vapid, materialistic, and probably totally screwed up teenagers.  I wonder if this show will last 10 years like its predecessor, or will it fall off the face of the planet within the first year?  When are they going to do shows about NORMAL people???
