It is a sad day for fans of 50s pinup model Bettie Page. She suffered a hear attack and never regained consciousness. She is know for her 50s poses and her sadomasacistic pictures (my favorites).
LOS ANGELES – Bettie Page, the 1950s secretary-turned-model whose controverisal photographs in skimpy attire or none at all helped set the stage for the 1960s sexual revolution, died Thursday. She was 85.
Ordered to Pay $61 Million to Louis Vuitton
LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, whose brands include Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Fendi, Emilio Pucci and Marc Jacobs, was awarded over $61 million dollars in their suite against EBay for the sale of counterfeit products on the auction site. Well, there were actually two different issues that came up during this incident. The first was that the court faulted the online company for "guilty negligence," for not doing enough to prevent fake goods from being sold on its site.
