In a perfect world this would not even be an issue

With Obama having to deal with issues concerning his inexperience, stance for foreign relations, and ideals of a speedy exit out of Iraq one would hope that the issue of race will be the last thing that comes up in this campaign.  Actually, it would be foolish for the Republican Party to run any racially charged campaigns, because it would be cliché and a little expected.  Not to say that they won’t happen from independent sources because they will and McCain will try to distance himself from anything racially charged.   But with friends like this who needs enemies.    There is a vendor in Texas that made buttons saying “If Obama is president ... will we still call it The White House?"  You can’t help but laugh at something like that because it is completely ignorant.  Now don’t we have enough issues to deal with as a country and haven’t we made enough of an ass out of ourselves globally to not have an ignorant racial smear campaign (and if anyone thinks that the rest of the world isn’t watching this election, you are sadly mistaken).  Let’s do the right thing people and bring out drug charges, sex scandals, and military service dodging…
