We’ve tried, but we just can’t take it anymore!

25-year-old rapper Rico Todriquez Wright was sentenced to 20 years in prison for shooting 28-year-old Chad Blue.  Now I know that you are probably ‘why is this worth writing about, people get shot everyday’ well here’s the twist to this story.  Wright decides to write a song about shooting Chad and actually says his name in the song.  Mind you, Rico didn’t kill Chad just shot him.  The song lyric went “Chad Blue knows how I shoot."  Wright was sentenced to 20 years for two counts of aggravated assault.  Now 20 years seems like a long time for aggravated assault but when I did a little research that is about the right amount of time.  Now what the hell was he thinking?   Did he think that no one was going to hear the song and tell Chad or the police.  Didn’t someone who produce the song take a moment and say “hey maybe you shouldn’t say the guys name on the song just in case he happens to listen to it?” What an IDIOT!!!
