We’ve tried, but we just can’t take it anymore!

Now I usually tend to steer away from mainstream rap (I can’t stand all the B*tches, Hoes, and bling), but today I felt that there was a glimmer of hope for the rap community.  A friend of mine told me to check out the song Grow Up by Bishop Lamont and I have to say I was completely stoked to hear it.  Finally, someone in the mainstream talked about everything that frustrates me about the rap music.  The song is produced by Dr. Dre, so you know its amazing.  The beat is relatively simple which allows you to really pay attention to the lyrics.  He calls out every one, from rappers who front in their videos to the old asses still hanging out when they have a wife and kid at home.  This song is a cry for people to grow the hell up.  Even if you are not into rap this song is worth giving a listen to.  You can hear it on his myspace page http://www.myspace.com/bishoplamont.
