Death of American Beer

Its official there is no major American Beer company any more.  In a sad but completely predictable turn of events InBev purchased Anheuser-Busch for an astonishing $52 billion.  InBev has promised to keep all of the U.S. breweries open making Budweiser its “global flagship” brand, which means that there won’t be too many layoffs.

InBev is proving to be a force to be reckoned with.  Since 2001 they have acquired breweries in Brazil, Belgium, and now the US making it the world’s largest brewer.   So what does this mean for the beer community?  CHEAPER BEER!!!
